January in Pre School brought excitement with just a little dusting of snow. But we made the most of the colder weather to think about some animals that live in colder climates, as well as how we can help the animals and birds in our gardens. We have done lots of bird related crafts to celebrate the Big Schools Bird Watch and Penguin Appreciation Day. Walking and moving like a Penguin was very tricky, but also great fun. We made binoculars to try and spot some birds in the garden, and have also been using our ears to listen for their calls.
